Samantha FrankTell us a little about yourself… I'm Sam, one of the co-owners of Sungrove Villas, alongside my brother Nick. When I'm not working, I'm a proud mum to two football-obsessed boys, spending much of my time chauffeuring them around. Luckily I love football! I'm passionate about interior design and property, which is a great fit for our business as it helps us choose the perfect villas for our guests to enjoy. I also love food, cooking and fitness. How long have you been with Sungrove, and what did you do before this? I joined our family business in 2014 after taking maternity leave. Prior to that, I worked in recruitment for 10 years, with my final role being a Recruitment Manager in the Nuclear industry. What does a typical day look like for you? I love a list, so I will start by writing down my priorities for the day. I will then work through my emails. We pride ourselves on quick communication, so this is always first on my agenda. I manage our social media channels, so I’ll spend time engaging with followers and scheduling new content for the week. I ensure guest satisfaction by checking in with current guests, managing any bookings and following up with guests post stay. I spend time helping property owners maximise their rental income and recruiting new properties. What’s your favourite part of your role? I truly love being part of people’s unforgettable holidays, often their ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ trips. Orlando is such a magical place, and I still cherish the memories of my childhood visits. It feels incredibly rewarding to help others create their own special memories.

Nick BarlowTell us a little about yourself… I'm Nick, one of the co-owners of Sungrove Villas, alongside my sister Sam. I’m married to Michelle who is a Nurse Practitioner within the NHS. I’m also a very proud father to three amazing children, who keep me busy when I’m not working. I’m a huge Manchester Untied fan and I love visiting our “Happy Place” in Anglesey where we’re lucky enough to have a caravan. How long have you been with Sungrove, and what did you do before this? I joined our family business in 2014, prior to this I worked in the motor industry for premium brands such as Land Rover & Mercedes-Benz. What does a typical day look like for you? My day typically starts with responding to any inbound enquiries generated from our website & advertising platforms, ensuring timely and professional follow-up. I manage the end-to-end client engagement process - from issuing and following up on quotations to maintaining accurate availability calendars and implementing targeted promotions as needed. I connect with arriving guests to ensure a seamless experience, while also managing critical booking operations, including balance collections and the distribution of arrival and access information. Additionally, I maintain strong relationships with our current homeowners and lead initiatives to identify and onboard high-potential properties to expand our portfolio. What’s your favourite part of your role? I love hearing the lovely guest feedback, guest satisfaction is our main priority and I always take huge pleasure in hearing how the villas have helped in creating special memories. I realise for most, a holiday to Florida is a once in a lifetime trip, so take great pride in ensuring the villas we provide are of prime quality.
